Storage used on reverbols
Alongside classic cookies, reverbols keeps one item in your browser's local storage. Only that item is essential. Analytics and advertising/affiliate cookies are not set until you give express consent, which is how PIPEDA treats optional tracking.
| Category | Purpose | Default | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Holds your consent decision and keeps navigation working | Permanently active | One year |
| Analytics | Shows which review sections are read, in totals only | Off until you tick it | About two years |
| Advertising / affiliate | Gives a commission partner proof that a reservation began here | Off until you tick it; never with GPC | Decided by each partner network |
Switching categories on or off
Open , a button that also sits at the foot of each page, tick or untick the optional boxes and press Save my choice. Wiping reverbols data from your browser settings has the same effect as starting over, after which the consent bar reappears.
Global Privacy Control
Browsers that broadcast GPC get advertising/affiliate storage blocked on reverbols automatically, regardless of any earlier tick.
